Bizz

Bizz

Editora Abril · General Music · BR · 1985–2007

Bizz was a highly influential Brazilian music and pop culture magazine published by Editora Abril. Inspired by international publications like Rolling Stone, it became the definitive guide for Brazilian music fans in the 1980s and 1990s, playing a crucial role in documenting the "Rock Brasil" explosion. In 1995, the publication officially changed its name to Showbizz to reflect a broader editorial shift that included more coverage of movies, television, and general entertainment alongside music. It operated under the Showbizz title until 2000, when it reverted to its original name. Despite later hiatuses, it remains one of the most culturally significant physical publications in Brazilian history.
