With exception of the closing track "Hell's Breath" (a studio version of an unreleased song dating back to 1983), this is a re-recording of Exodus' 1985 debut album "[m=106077]". The band claims that the main reason behind this album's existence was not only for paying tribute to deceased singer [a=Paul Baloff] (the voice of the 1985 album), but for the "benefit of modern production".
